Leather over boards, 456 pp, preface, index, 247 steel engravings. Front board missing, front fly loose, spine gone, cut punch mark at title page penetrates as small dimple to pg 19, damp stain at margin first 12 pp, damp stain at margin pg 433 to end, minor foxing, text block split at pg 264. The text block is complete and excellent white rag paper with minor foxing except for damp stains mentioned above. This is a poor/reading copy in current condition but excellent copy for rebinding. Uncommon medical text in all editions. Newshelf 19.
