- Book 1 of 3: The Forevers
She can slow time to zero.
She can rewrite reality.
And someone wants to live inside her body.
Jayne Wu is thirteen years old — and already dangerous.
As an apprentice fixer inside the artificial biomes that keep humanity alive, she has a secret: she can enter a mental state she calls the bubble — where time nearly stops and every outcome can be calculated… and controlled.
But Jayne isn’t just gifted.
She was engineered.
Hidden inside her brain is something unprecedented — a mind capable of sustaining two consciousnesses at once. To the powerful and the dying, she isn’t a girl.
She’s a vessel.
When a shadow network known as the Forevers begins hunting her, Jayne is pulled into a conspiracy built on stolen identities, erased lives, and a terrifying promise: immortality by overwrite.
And they’ve already proven it works.
Captured and strapped into a neural transfer system, Jayne faces the ultimate violation — her mind being erased and replaced in real time.
But inside the bubble… she fights back.
Because if she loses, she won’t just die.
She’ll still be alive — watching someone else live her life.
And what’s coming next may be even worse.
A cosmic threat is approaching Earth.
The Forevers are only the beginning.
And Jayne may be the only one who can stop what’s coming.
MINDSTORMS is a high-concept sci-fi thriller perfect for fans of Blake Crouch, Neal Stephenson, and Black Mirror — blending cutting-edge neuroscience, identity warfare, and a relentless fight for control of the human mind.
