Why do people arrive at different conclusions when faced with the same reality?
This book is a journey from classical logic and philosophy to human, social, and individual forms of reasoning; from mathematics and science to politics, culture, art, and everyday life.
Drawing on more than four decades of experience in teaching, research, and scholarly dialogue, the authors invite readers to reflect on a fundamental question: How do knowledge, experience, beliefs, language, culture, emotions, and social environments shape the way we think and reason?
The book demonstrates that understanding others requires more than simply recognizing their viewpoints; it also demands an understanding of the underlying logics through which they think, judge, and make decisions.
Each Mind Has Its Own Logic is an invitation to thoughtful reflection, meaningful dialogue, tolerance, and a deeper understanding of both humanity and the world around us.
