Paperback. Mind the Gap is a poetry collection by Atom Rush that explores the spaces between thought and action, silence and sound, distance and connection. Across sixty poems, the collection examines personal memory, cultural fracture, intimacy, and the quiet weight of living in a world shaped by acceleration and uncertainty. The poems move between the interior and the collective, blending reflective lyricism with moments of spoken-word urgency. Themes of identity, technology, grief, love, and resistance surface throughout, often returning to the idea of the "gap" - the emotional, moral, or temporal space where meaning is formed or lost.Atom Rush's work is rooted in performance and sound while remaining grounded on the page, allowing the poems to function both as meditative reading and as resonant spoken pieces. The collection favors clarity over abstraction, inviting readers to pause, reconsider, and engage rather than observe from a distance.Mind the Gap is suited for readers of contemporary poetry who are drawn to work that balances accessibility with depth, and who value language that reflects lived experience without sacrificing craft. The collection stands as both a personal record and a shared reflection on navigating modern life with attention and intention. This item is printed on demand.
