This will be a user-friendly guide which will explain how to surf the net, detail important keywords and ways to make searches easier, how to make contacts through the web and even how to set up your own site.
The second part is a guide to ‘spirit-ed’ sites, taking in the serious and the fun aspects of the net. They will be broken down into sections:
•Generic Sources – including on-line magazines, festival guides, workshops and courses etc.
•Spritual – Looking at all manner of faiths, practices and disciplines, from Aboriginal Spirituality to Wicca
•Healing and Therapy – this will open up the holistic pracitcal side of spirituality pinpointing sites on everything from aromatherapy to yoga
•Transformation – which will take in disciplines that sit side-by-side the spiritual approach to life, for example green movement and permaculture
• Oracles and Divination – A guide to the practices of techniques like dowsing and feng shui and also how you can find advice on the net, or workshops
• Strange, Weird and Trivial – Great miscellany that the web triumphs in…
This book will not only show you how to surf the net, but most importantly show you the pitfalls of surfing to avoid. it is easy to get distracted while on the net and to fall prey to commercials and big companies on a selling drive… there is more information than one person could read in a lifetime – therefore this book will review sites and point you in the right direction.
