Hardcover. The cult of the celebrity and the fascination with the movie industry has spawned a large collectors market in movie memorabilia. This book is a comprehensive guide to the ever-popular area of collecting, focusing on movie posters. It is divided into genres such as film noir, Disney and other animation, movie stars, James Bond and Star Wars, and follows the progression of cinema from the early days of silent film through to modern re-releases of old classics. There is also a section on other memorabilia, including press kits, film books, props and programmes, with the emphasis on collectibles that are affordable to the every day collector, not just the top-of-the-range items. Information on how to care for and restore your movie memorabilia is provided, along with useful addresses and further reading suggestions. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
