Item description from seller

Seventeen parts in two- and four-page folio litho printed reproduction of manuscript with extensive holograph annotations throughout, three manuscript pages in Bellson's hand inserted. An excellent example of working scores, with annotations throughout, mostly by Bellson in black and blue ink, with some pencil annotations by Krupa and additional notes in a third hand. This set of scores derives from the collection of Bellson's friend and colleague Dave Black, who received them from Bellson as a gift with the explanation that they were used in the recording session, and subsequently from the collection of legendary Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts. Occasional wear and marks from use; one leaf shows some surface damage where it appears that something spilled on it; very good, housed in a custom red cloth solander box with chemise.…
