Easton Press Deluxe Limited Edition; Color Plates and b&w drawings; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 187 pages; 2010 Easton Press. Lushly produced limited edition, reproduces in facsimile the 1914 Constable edition illustrated with color plates and pen drawings by W. Heath Robinson. This Easton Press Deluxe edition issued in an edition limited to 250 copies; this copy is hand numbered 140 on the limitation leaf and on the COA laid in at front. Handsomely bound in full leather with pictorial design blocked in several colors to cover; hubbed spine, silk bookmarks and hand marbled endpages. Color plates from paintings by Robinson are tipped in on gilt ruled leaves with lettered tissue guards. Tightly bound and fresh. Enclosed in a folding green cloth clam shell box with titles brightly in gilt to the spine edge. A mild white smudge to the cloth along the bottom edge of the front (lid) side; apparently some bookshelf paint had adhered and been rubbed away by the original owner. All else quite Fine .
