Paperback. Walking Whisper. Avenging Shadow. Terror to the Wicked.Harlem, 1936. The jazz is hot, the streets are mean, and something moves through the fog and shadow. They call him the Midnight Phantom - a cursed vigilante armed with a deadly arsenal and a nightmare motorcycle that roars through the night, hunting the corners of the city polite society has already given up on.But in a city where gangsters cut deals with demons, innocence doesn't last till dawn. A woman marked for death. A child drawn into the dark. A sorceress who wants his soul. Every alley hides a new threat, and every threat has a price the Phantom is the only one willing to pay.Every fight feeds the curse that drives him. Every life he saves costs him another piece of himself. He isn't a hero, not in the way the papers would tell it. He isn't a savior, not in the way anyone would thank him for. He's simply what's left standing between the people of Harlem and the things that hunt them after dark - and in a city drowning in sin and smoke, the line between man and monster is fading fast. This collection gathers five interconnected tales of noir action, dark magic, and hard-won humanity, following a Black vigilante hero and the community he's sworn to protect - even when protecting them means losing more of himself with every night that passes. Rendered in bold, pulse-pounding artwork and written with the grit of classic pulp fiction, Midnight Phantom blends 1930s Harlem history with supernatural horror and street-level crime drama.Fans of pulp noir, urban fantasy, and character-driven action-adventure will find a world worth returning to - one where courage costs everything, and redemption is never guaranteed.
