Ten-year-old Bram has always been able to find what's lost: car keys,
retainers, somebody else's hamster. But when he hauls open the rusted Lost &
Found window at Mossgate Station, where no train has stopped in seventy years,
he finds something he wasn't looking for. A boy named Wilf, grey and
see-through, who has been waiting at that cold window for seventy years for
someone who can finally see him.
Wilf can't go home until he finds the gift he lost the day he died. So Bram
does the thing he was born to do. He promises to find it. With his best friend
Gus, who can't see a single ghost, digging up the clues, Bram follows the trail
through dusty photographs and his late gran's hidden secrets, straight toward a
thing in the dark that has been stealing the lost away, one snipped tag at a
time.
To send one ghost home, Bram will have to become what his gran always knew he
was: a finder. The keeper of the window. The only one who can give the dead
back what they lost.
THE BOY ON PLATFORM TWO is Book One of The Midnight Lost & Found, a cozy,
