"As in any work where the subject is conflict, The Lord of the Rings, by J.R.R. Tolkien, presents a lengthy series of choices that are necessitated by circumstances arising during the action. Almost every major character in the Trilogy is faced with making at least one decision that will ultimately have an adverse effect on the Great War of the Rings. A very interesting read for students of the LotR; this work then, focuses what the author considered to be essential decisions that must be made concerning the Ring of Sauron and the war fought over that Ring at the end of the Third Age of Middle-Earth." Ecellent read for any student Middle-Earth.
