About the Author: Jens Köhrsen is an assistant professor at the Centre for Religion, Economy and Politics and holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Bielefeld and École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales. His research interests span Latin American religion and the relationship of religion and ecology.
