Paperback. Slight crease to corner front cover. Middle-age is the great neglect unknown of an otherwise well-dcumented lifespan. Yet all of us will have to pass through it, and perhaps we fear it, believing when we are younger that it is indeed a period of stagnation, of physical slowing-down and hardening attitudes. But in reality it is the time when many people reach for and attain the best that their lives can afford them. And it is a time of stress, with new challenges at work, new responsibilites, the departure of children from home, often new emotional commitments combining to demand all the strength a human being can muster. Whether one triumphs or fails in this challenge, it is also a tieme when the reality of one's life has to be approached. This book offers an entirely new approach to and understanding of what has been called 'the mid-life crisis'. Illustrated. 128 pp. (We carry a wide selection of titles in The Arts, Theology, History, Politics, Social and Physical Sciences. Academic, Scholarly books and Modern First Editions etc.). …
