Good news: automation is no longer reserved for developers with five monitors and a love for cryptic code.
Microsoft Business Automation Guide is your practical, no-fluff roadmap to automating business processes using Microsoft’s powerful (and surprisingly friendly) automation tools. Written in a humorous, casual, and motivational tone, this book shows you how to turn everyday chaos into clean, scalable workflows—without losing your sanity or your weekends.
Whether you are a business professional, analyst, IT leader, or ambitious citizen developer, this book walks you step-by-step through Microsoft’s automation ecosystem. You will learn how to design workflows, build low-code apps, automate desktop tasks, and apply AI to real business problems—all while keeping governance, security, and scalability in mind.
Inside this book, you will discover how to:
- Understand business automation fundamentals and spot high-impact automation opportunities
- Use Power Platform tools to automate workflows, approvals, and notifications
- Build low-code business apps that people actually want to use
- Automate legacy systems and repetitive desktop tasks with RPA
- Apply AI Builder to documents, predictions, and intelligent decision-making
- Structure data properly using Dataverse and integrate external systems
- Avoid automation chaos with smart governance and security strategies
- Extend automation with Azure services for enterprise-scale solutions
- Prepare for the future with AI copilots, hyperautomation, and ROI-driven strategy
This is not a dry technical manual. It is a field guide written by someone who knows that real businesses are messy, users click the wrong buttons, and “quick fixes” have a habit of becoming permanent. You will get clear explanations, practical examples, best practices, and plenty of encouragement to experiment, break things (safely), and build better processes.
If you want to:
- Reduce manual work without hiring an army of developers
- Empower teams with low-code and AI tools
- Build automation that scales instead of collapses
- Future-proof your organization with Microsoft automation
Then this book is for you.
Automation does not replace people. It frees them.
Let’s make your business smarter, faster, and a lot less annoying to run.
