From the Author
This debut novel is a moving story about the frailty of family ties. Justine Roberts, an 18 year old photographer with no real plans for her life, tries to make sense of the murder of her parents by a religious splinter group. Moving to DC to live with her aunt Margaret, also a photographer, Justine closes in on this group, but she also discovers answers she wasn't looking for and a new understanding of how her aunt held their family together. Presenting both Margaret and Justine's views on loss and women's experience, Microgravity is a compact story of a family in which the members are like "the cities on a distance map: two always lining up and pointing at the third."
