Octavo, paperbound (stapled wrappers), 21 pp. Very Good+, with former-owner signature and very light foxing (age darkened spotting). From Introduction: The method of soil analysis here outlined has been in use in the Division of Soil Chemical and Physical Investigations since 1910. It is a product of the progressive developkment of soil study and represents matured judgement as to the best means by which an accurate determination of soil composition to obtained. Prior to 1910 the acid-digestion method of soil analysis was in common use in the Bureau. This method was supposed to show the quanitites of plant food in the soil available to the plant through a long period of years. Agriculture, Farming, Gardening, Landscaping. DWS.
