Item description from seller

Adelaide, E. Spiller, Government Printer, 1881. Foolscap folio, xxx, 250 pages with a map and numerous charts plus an errata slip, 2 large folding maps and 2 large mounted albumen silver photographs ('Equatorial, 8-inch' [Telescope], 235 × 185 mm; and 'Thermometer House', 160 × 235 mm). A section comprising two conjugate leaves (the half-title leaf, title leaf and four-page index to Volume III of the 'Proceedings of the Parliament of South Australia . 1881' is tipped in on the title page. Neatly disbound in one piece; spine a little canted; edges a little marked; a very good copy. South Australian Parliamentary Paper Number 31 of 1881; one of very few photographically-illustrated Australian parliamentary papers ever issued. Not in Holden; the copy in the 1979 auction of the collection of Eric Glenie Bonython is not described in detail in the catalogue. This is definitely the meteorological book for anyone not particularly interested in meteorology.
