About the Author
Dr. Hemachandran Kannan is a Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Business Analytics at School of Business, Woxsen University, India and holds the Zita Zoltay Paprika of Decision Sciences and Business Economics and Course5i- Chair Professor of Business Analytics and Machine Learning. He has been a passionate teacher with 15 years of teaching experience and 5 years of research experience. A strong educational professional with a scientific bent of mind, highly skilled in AI & Business Analytics. After receiving a PhD in embedded systems, He started focusing on Interdisciplinary research. He served as an effective resource person at various national and international scientific conferences and panel discussions. He also gave lectures on topics related to Artificial Intelligence & Business Analytics. He was bestowed as Best faculty at Woxsen University in 2021-2022 and also in Ashoka Institute of Engineering & Technology in 2019 – 2020. He is having rich working experience in Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Building Video recommendation systems, Building Chatbots for HR policies and Education Sector, Automatic Interview processes, and Autonomous Robots. Dr. Hemachandran is currently working on various real-time use cases and projects in collaboration with Industries such as Advertflair, Nosh Technologies, Course5i and Apstek Corp. Dr. Shahid Mohammad Ganie is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Information Management and Technology, College of Applied Medical Sciences, King Faisal University, Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. His research interests include Data Analytics, Explainable Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Healthcare Informatics, Medical Image Analysis, and Smart Healthcare Systems. Dr. Raul Villamarin Rodriguez is Vice President of Woxsen University and holds professorships in cognitive psychology and integrative research. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Universidad del Externado in Colombia and sits on international advisory boards in Europe and Russia. He holds a PhD in artificial intelligence and robotic process automation in human resources and specialises in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and emerging areas such as quantum AI. He contributes to global academic initiatives, including expert groups focused on responsible management education and pedagogy. Dr. Rodriguez is recognised as an expert by the European Commission and actively contributes to research, publishing, and academic service through authorship, editorial roles, and peer review for leading journals. His work focuses on advancing AI-driven innovation, analytics, and digital learning in higher education and applied research contexts.
Dr. Manjeet Rege is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Software Engineering and Data Science; and Director of the Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence at the University of St. Thomas. Dr. Rege is an author, mentor, thought leader, and a frequent public speaker on Big Data, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence technologies. He is also the co-host of the "All Things Data" podcast that brings together leading data scientists, technologists, business model experts and futurists to discuss strategies to utilize, harness and deploy data science, data-driven strategies and enable digital transformation. Apart from being engaged in research, Dr. Rege regularly consults with various organizations to provide expert guidance for building Big Data and AI practice, and applying innovative data science approaches. He has published in various peer-reviewed reputed venues such as IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, Data Mining & Knowledge Discovery Journal, IEEE International Conference on Data Mining, and the World Wide Web Conference. Dr Suresh Munuswamy is a medical doctor, scientist and a start-up entrepreneur. He studied M.B.B.S in Chennai, M.P.H in Oxford and PhD in Tokyo. He was the first Indian to be selected for the Public Health Leadership Doctorate Program fully sponsored by the Government of Japan. Presently he is the Deputy Director and Additional Professor
at Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) for Technology Innovations; Director at Hi Rapid Lab –PHFI’s first faculty led start-up company; and the coordinator for India’s first integrated MSc and PhD Health Informatics program at IIPH- Hyderabad. Previously he was part of the team that started India’s first School of Public Health in a private university at SRM near Chennai.
He has 6 years of clinical experience, 7 years of public health experience and over 10 years of experience in design, development of comprehensive software, hardware and mobility platforms for delivering universal primary health care screening and treatment at home. The platform developed by Dr.Suresh, integrates several design and technology approaches, including graphic icons and AR for UI, wide spectrum images (within and beyond visual) for automated feature identification, iterative looped logic and artificial intelligence for decision making, custom configured ground (two and four wheeler) and unmanned aerial vehicles/ drones for product supply chain. He has about 10 design and process patents to his credit. Several components of the platform, are currently being field tested in several locations for several applications. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.
Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to AHA-BUCH GmbH, Einbeck, Germany, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
