The book is divided into chapters, each of which focuses on a different aspect of Aeschines' use of metaphors. Fraser provides a detailed analysis of the metaphors used by Aeschines in his speeches, and discusses their literary and rhetorical significance. He also provides historical and cultural context for the metaphors, and examines their relevance to the political and social issues of the time.
