Paperback. "The Metal Moon" is a collaborative science fiction short story authored by Everett C. Smith and Roman F. Starzl. The novel's plot takes place in a future where humanity has made technological developments that allow humans to travel beyond Earth. As the title character is so indulgent, readers are forced to keep reading to find out what happens next. Some stories are brutal and weird, while others creep up on you and draw you in slowly. A group of adventurous explorers embarks on a trip to investigate a mysterious metal moon orbiting a distant planet. When they reach at their destination, they find a world unlike any they've seen before: a moon composed entirely of metallic stuff. As they investigate the metallic moon's surface, the explorers discover amazing facts and encounter odd, alien people. These aliens have unique talents and a strong connection to the metallic composition of the moon. The story unfolds with astonishment and fear as the explorers try to understand the moon's origins and the purpose of its inhabitants. "The Metal Moon" is a classic science fiction story that blends elements of space exploration, alien contact, and cosmic mystery.
