This is a very good hardcover copy of the first edition in the original publishers' binding of olive green cloth with decorations and title in black on the front cover, and black cloth spine, titled in gilt. Back cover has light fading and faint stain. Completely clean inside. This copy belonged to a landscape architect at UC Berkeley and has his small neat bookplate from the period on the inside front cover. 277 black & white illustrations, including 1 small color plate, (a drawing) tipped-in. Bibliography. 12" high X 9" wide, 202 pages. A very nice copy of the original edition, not the reprint. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
