A nice copy of this interesting account of the First World War operations of the little known campaign of the British and Indian forces in Mesopotamia in 1917-1918 The book is in soft back covers and is not ex lib. It is tightly bound with no apparent foxing . There is minimal loss on the ffep where a former label has been removed Several of the pages have some have text underlined in red pencil and there are some penciled markings on one of the maps in the back pocket. These markings do not retract from the generally good condition of the book It seems that a former owner with knowledge of the campaign was scrutinising and commenting on the text! All 10 inserted maps are present and in good order The two maps in the back pocket are present Internally the book is clean and bright.
