Ex library book with the usual markings, stamps, labels, and identifiers. Pages very clean and unmarked; boards and spine in very good condition; dust jacket protected in mylar. A compelling portrait of Meriwether Lewis that is based on fourteen years of research. Challenges many myths about the great explorer. Makes an excellent reading/reference volume. Looks barely read.
