About Meridian Rare Books ABA PBFA
Meridian Rare Books trades from Deptford, London, an historic location that was the starting point for expeditions by Frobisher, Cook, Phipps, Bligh, Vancouver, and others; later, Captain Robert Scott trained here. We are close to Greenwich and the prime meridian, the site of the Royal Observatory. Meridian Rare Books was established in 2007 by Stuart Leggatt, after nearly fifteen years experience in bookselling and the book trade (Henry Sotheran Ltd., Dominic Winter Book Auctions). We specialise in fine and rare books of travel, exploration, scientific voyages, and science. Our stock also includes related ephemera, manuscripts, autographs, photographs and artefacts. Please note that we do not list our entire stock online, for a full list of items in your area of interest please contact us. We are members of ILAB, ABA, PBFA, and the Ephemera Society.
