Ann Brady from Mentoring Writers is pleased to present a journey into the Mentoring Writers Short Story Book.
This years book consists of a selection of stories written by writers who entered the Mentoring Writers 2021 Short Story Writing Competition.
The selection of stories inside this book cover a variety of genres from Mystery to Sci-Fi, Romance to Chick Lit, Horror to Contemporary Fiction. The stories, which are aimed at older readers, were chosen by the judges as being the ‘best of the best’ within their chosen category

About the Author:

Ann Brady was born in Yorkshire, but now lives in Cardiff Bay. She has been a writer for over thirty years. During her working life Ann created, developed, and ran one of the first successful, award-winning retail websites in the UK to which she contributed over 200 plus pieces of non-fiction editorial. Her work was also included in magazines, national newspapers and educational booklets. She has organised and hosted many exhibitions and is a speaker of some standing, something she has continued to do since retiring. Apart from writing non-fiction, Ann has in recent years developed an organisation titled www.mentoringwriters.co.uk which aims to help new and developing writers hone their writing skills. She works with writers of all ages across the world. For writers under 18, mentorship is done through the www.kids4kids.org.uk organisation. As an author, Ann has published a total of 18 Children's Picture Story Books, Mystery Story Books, which includes the original Doyle's Casebook, and an award-winning Historical Fiction Novel. Ann is currently working on two Historical Fiction novels due to be released shortly.
