MEN'S HEALTH NEEDS ATTENTION!
Men die about six years younger than women.
One in three men gets cancer: one in four dies from it.
Men are more prone than women to alcoholism, drug addiction and psychological illness.
Some forty per cent of men over forty suffer from extended periods of impotence.
Ten per cent of the male population is considered sub-fertile.
In this concise and well researched book, author Joe Armstrong addresses many and frequently complex issues around men's health. With a straightforward and often amusing approach, he aims to alert men - and those close to them - about the need to look after their health. He covers everything from aspects of their physical bodies, through to stress, sex and relationships, and how to cope with various emotional issues such as anger, jealousy and depression. He finishes up with help for some common masculine complaints such as snoring, baldness and acne.
With lists of useful addresses and further reading, this really is the book for every man.
Other titles in the series The Common Sense Approach 'Sleep', 'Stress', 'Pregnancy', 'Headaches', 'Addiction' and 'Depression'.
