Memoirs of Count Grammont. By Count Anthony Hamilton and printed in Philadelphia by David McKay. C. 1900, 408 pp, 9.75 x 6.75 , 8vo, hardcover 3/4 leather. Overall very good, with minor rubbing and wear to boards. Hinges remain in good condition and text block remains bound well. Light markings and marginalia. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A nicely bound work by Whitman Bennett, likely an earlier work. Bennett (1884-1968) established his studio in the late 1920s, and so-called Bennett bindings are still considered popular today.
