You have most likely experienced excessive delays in scheduling appointments with your doctor, get frustrated with rushed and too short office visits, hate the long waits in your doctor’s office, and really hate how hard it is to reach your doctor. An appointment today? Nearly impossible. But why is getting what you need from a doctor so difficult and frustrating?
You have found the first book to fully explain the revolutionary new fix for primary care that is sweeping the nation: Direct Primary Care.
Troy A. Burns, MD is a pioneer in healthcare reform. He was among the first to adopt the new Direct Primary Care model that fixes many of the problems with our broken healthcare system. As a practicing primary care physician and serial entrepreneur with 35 years of experience on the front lines of patient care, Dr. Burns explains what’s wrong with American healthcare and how guaranteed access to your doctor can make you healthier, help you manage chronic health conditions, keep you out of the ER, and keep your insurance company from coming between you and your doctor.
Direct Primary Care is an affordable and highly efficient primary care delivery model that promises unrestricted access to your personal doctor with same-day appointments and 24/7 remote access for a flat monthly fee. No deductibles. No copayments. No office visit charges. No insurance required.
This book explains -
- A better approach to healthcare for you and your family
- Why having a personal primary care physician who is always available is essential to your health
- The reasons that our healthcare system is so inefficient, frustrating and expensive
- How to get fast, personal, and affordable care from a doctor who knows you—even in emergencies
- How Direct Primary Care can cut costs and improve care for employers and employees
If you’re a patient (or someone who never goes to a doctor) who needs to establish a relationship with a doctor, Direct Primary Care is your solution (this book tells you how).
Direct Primary Care physician practices are located throughout the United States. You can locate a doctor near you (this book tells you how).
If you’re an employer struggling to offer healthcare to your workforce, you can learn how to build your benefits on a foundation of Direct Primary Care, give everyone better care and save everyone money (this book tells you how).
Success Stories from Direct Primary Care Patients:
- “Direct Primary Care provides incredible value and service for an appropriate price. The direct care model is a great fit for anyone that's looking for a concierge level of healthcare service without the hassle of interacting with insurance companies. Can you text your doc 24/7? Because I can!”
- “Over the last several years I have been able to contact my doctor directly. Each time the response has been within minutes, and extremely helpful. When an appointment is needed, I have been able to see the doctor on the same day, every time.”
- “For less than I paid in co-pays and deductibles I joined the new direct care membership program and save several hundreds of dollars a year.”
- “There is never a hassle to get an appointment or even just talk to the doctor on the phone. Appointments run on time and you get plenty of time to talk to your doctor about anything you have going on. This is the way medicine should be.”
Troy A. Burns, MD, is a practicing primary care physician and the Founder and Medical Director of ProPartners Healthcare, Kansas City’s leading Direct Primary Care medical practice. He is among the country’s leaders in Direct Primary Care and advises U.S. Senators and Representatives on this revolutionary method to deliver healthcare most efficiently and cost-effectively.
