When I wrote this book many years back I did not know that so much advancement would take place in media technology and artificial intelligence. Now I see that most of the things I have written some years back are actually taking advancements in Artificial intelligence and Virtual Reality.
How production, distribution, and exhibition of media are changing due to digitization. With the coming of the internet, there has been tremendous development in the distribution of news, digital marketing, document sharing, online education, email marketing and printing and distributing music and videos. This book explains everything required from a layman's point of view and is also a textbook for students, teachers, owners of big and small media companies as well as CEO of all corporations, to implement digitization in their institutions. The book will also help government organisations and other types of non-government institutions. It is a good asset for public libraries.
- Advancement in media convergence due to digitization. Media convergence in everyday life.
- Production, distribution, and exhibition of role of the internet in development of media convergence.
- Media convergence in the newspaper, radio, television and business industries.
- Definition of media convergence with respect to the developments taking place through digitization.
