Volume 3 only. viii, 392pp, black and white frontispiece, numerous in-text illustrations throughout. Red cloth-covered boards with black titles to front and spine. 12mo. Sun-faded and soiled spine, moderately rubbed spine ends; cloth fraying. Corners lightly rubbed, boards lightly soiled with slightly rubbed edges. Text block edges lightly tanned, starting to fox. Internally pages are slightly age toned otherwise neat, clean, bright and tight. Volume three of Motor Manuals, a series of four volumes for all motor owners and users. Originally for the use of car owner, driver and mechanic, have subsequently been used in schools and technical institutions for the motor engineering student and apprentices.
