This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Tests and measurements in general education are usually designed to measure abstractions like intelligence and academic aptitude. For this reason, the field of psychometrics is primarily concerned with the development and refinement of methods to test just such abstract qualities. However, students of Human Kinetics and Health Education programmes need to understand the constructs of physical activity, fitness, sports skills, health promotion processes, outcomes and impact, among others, and how to measure them. This book, Measurement and Evaluation in Human Kinetics and Health Education, offers the most accessible, student-friendly introduction to the principles and practice of measuring and evaluating these constructs. Professor Patrick Awharianovwe Muoboghare inspired this book with his evidence-based leadership and mentorship style. Measurement and Evaluation in Human Kinetics and Health Education is a user-friendly textbook that provides valuable information for people who are, or will be, evaluating human kinetics, recreation, sports science, health education and health promotion programmes. 532 pp. Englisch.…
