When Sofia Mercer, a heart transplant recipient who's been trying to make a go of life as a single lady in New York, inherits her great-aunt's erotic boutique on Cape Cod, she decides to leave city life behind.
However, Sofia's plans for a new life come to a screeching halt the moment she sees Burke Wolf for the first time since she left Cape Cod many years ago. Though they haven't spoken in years - while Burke was busy getting clean and Sofia had medical problems of their own - the connection they have is as palpable as ever. Burke is now a changed man and Sofia, fighting it as she may, knows that the sizzling attraction they have for each other have not changed at all.

About the Author
Lisa Marie Perry encounters difficult fictional men and women on a daily basis. She writes sizzling, deep fiction featuring flawed heroes brought to their knees by the love of complicated women. She has received high praise from USA Today and has been nominated for an RT Book Reviews literary award. She lives in America's heartland, drives a truck, enjoys indie rock, collects Medieval literature, watches too many comedies, has a not-so-secret love for lace and adores rugged men with a little bit of nerd.
