A 64th printing, the lowest number in the number line on the copyright page. A fine copy, clean and tight, with lightly touched corners and spine ends. A very gently read copy. The date of publication shown on this listing will be 1947, the original date of publication, but the renewed date is 1974. No dust jacket, may not have had one, as there is a price ($14.95), a UPC number, and the Random House internet address on the back panel. A lovely copy of this controversial treasure that won't be reprinted. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
