Neuware - Within the darkest corners of the land lie worlds hidden by the blink of an eye, waiting to entrap those who would stumble into them. Down in the deepest recesses of the unconscious mind lurk strange and terrible things ready to rise to the surface. Would you dare enter the portals to these unexplored horizons of malevolence and spectres that lie in wait within the undiscovered country of ourselves.

Are the childhood fables of nightmare creatures your parents conjured really nothing more than stories? Is your own child’s imaginary friend just that? Can you be sure the threatening figure caught by your webcam is simply a digital fault? Should a village that does not want to be found be best left unseen?
For his second collection, Barry McCann beckons you into the dark interiors of ghostly hauntings, the manifestation of guilt and supernatural retribution, ancient myths persisting into the urban, the psychology of landscape and souls lost in its all-consuming enclosure. Eerie and emotional, these are journeys beyond our five senses from which there may be no return.
