Beginning his youth, Ott's Tribulation - A Legal Thriller, takes the reader through Maxx's perilous association with Cooper Gibbon and his love for Anna, who comes between them. In the end, Maxx must face a prosecutor hell-bent on running him through the justice system for two murders he didn't commit. A sly attorney and his legal team must work overtime in their efforts to keep Maxx out of further incarceration.

Ott's War takes off in a drama chock full of combat, Vietnam style. In his humble, yet riveting recollection of his service time in Southeast Asia, a story unfolds with Maxx rescuing a young boy in a harrowing will to survive. His courage earns him his nation's highest award for valor, yet haunts him in the years ahead when a deviant comrade of sorts finds cause to wreak havoc on his family, leaving Maxx with a gut-wrenching outcome.

Finally, in Ott's Redemption, vengeance packs a powerful incentive for Maxx as he takes on the task of hunting down the killer of his family. Devastated by his loss, Maxx seeks the whereabouts of Malik Morelli, whom he holds accountable for his hideous, unwarranted deed. His new skills as a quick-learning private investigator aid him in reclaiming a war-free existence. In the end, however, it all comes tragically apart for someone in a twist, Maxx will take his grave.
