Paperback. Max the Moose's First Day at Forest School is a gentle children's story about autism, kindness, safety, and belonging. When Max the Moose joins Forest School, his new classmates learn that Max may communicate, play, and join in differently and that different does not mean wrong. With help from Teacher Hazel, the children learn how to be patient, give space, include Max in their own way, and understand that kindness is for everyone. This book was created to help children, families, and classrooms talk about autism with compassion and understanding. Its message is simple but powerful: every child deserves friendship, fairness, safety, and a place where they truly belong. A heartfelt story for teaching inclusion, acceptance, and the importance of making room for every child. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
