Glossy, color-pictorial dj with black lettering on spine. A bit heavy at 5 pounds and may require extra postage. The first full-scale pictorial survey and critical biography devoted to Ernst. Many of the illustrations are reproduced here in color for the first time. Includes an excellent synthesis of biography, critical analysis, and acute observation of the major artistic movements of the 20th century. Discusses Ernst's contributions with discussions and statements from his peers (including Jean Arp and Giorgio de Chricio). Good/Good. (Dust jacket has wear to top edge and a 2-inch piece missing at back top by spine. Still very protective. Boards show minimal shelf/edgwear; pages are clean. binding is solid.).

Mullen Books maintains a very active computerized inventory which grows by 2-300 titles per week. Our specialties include the Humanities, with an emphasis on Art, Architecture, Photography, Decorative Arts, History, as well as Periodicals related to those areas. We have very rare as well as fairly common titles. Current inventory is approximately 79,000 titles. We have about 1000' of backlog in our specialties numbering over 30,000 items (including 20,000+ smaller and ephemeral catalogues devoted to individual artist exhibitions). Current stock occupies over 2.3 miles of shelving. We are active buyers as well as very active sellers, and supply entire reference libraries as well as individual titles. We ship books almost everywhere, with the exception of China due to restrictions. Our website mullenbooks.com maintains our entire database of over 150,000 titles dynamically, so you can submit "wants" for books which are listed, but not currently in-stock. It is a major research tool. Despite what Google may indicate, we are only open to visitors by appointment, as our schedules are dynamic depending upon the needs of our valued employees.
