Franco Origlia's collection aims to capture the joy, disappointment and adrenaline-charged energy of a champion at the pinnacle of his career. Using a mixture of photographic styles such as publicity shots and reportage, he charts the progress of Max Biaggi's life for one year as the speed racer qualifies for the Classe Regina. The photographs are simultaneously simple and sophisticated, with Origlia's minimalist approach producing a series that is almost poetic in its portrayal of Biaggi's racing life.
