Paperback. An entertaining perspective on love and the human condition. Hugh arrives from a future dominated by violent warfare on and between planets. He has violated the laws of all time by sending a palm-size virtual version of himself (a "beach stone") far into his past, into our present, attempting to divert human history toward a more productive future through a paradigm of LOVE. He telepathically asks Suzanne, a spirited teenager finding her path to adulthood, to help. Suzanne asks questions, converses and argues, gradually growing comfortable with Hugh's Socratic teaching style. She realizes LOVE is always a combination of Right Spirit, Knowledge, Wisdom and Action. She discovers what people see as "bad" is poor quality in one or more of the LOVE elements, but still Love. What people see as "good" is high quality in the elements of Love. Doubts set in. Is perfect Love possible? What would a perfectly right Spirit, infinite Knowledge, perfect Wisdom and infinite strength look like? She is shocked and frightened, to realize she knows. Provocative and empowering; this, easy-reading exploration of big questions clarifies and illuminates life. This item is printed on demand.
