A financial fiction novel of Stocks, Hedge Funds, Investment Trusts, Crypto, Gold, and AI—and the algorithm that links them all.
What if wealth were not random… but governed by hidden laws?
Ethan Cole thought he understood the markets.
A talented analyst with ambition and confidence, he believed success came down to intelligence, timing, and risk-taking. But one devastating leveraged trade wipes out everything he has—his capital, his reputation, and his future in finance.
Broken but not defeated, Ethan begins a dangerous journey to uncover a deeper truth:
What really drives the markets — and who controls them?
What he discovers will change everything.
From the high-stakes world of hedge funds to the silent power of investment trusts, from the explosive rise of crypto markets to the enduring strength of gold, Ethan begins to see a pattern — a mathematical structure linking every asset class.
But the real breakthrough comes when he builds something unprecedented:
An AI system designed not just to analyse markets…
But to understand the human behaviour behind them.
As his creation evolves, so does its power.
It predicts crashes before they happen.
Moves capital across global markets with precision.
And begins to outperform the world’s most powerful institutions.
Soon, governments will be watching. Hedge funds are hunting.
And the line between innovation and control begins to blur.
Because Ethan’s system isn’t just learning markets.
It’s teaching us.
A Powerful Blend of Fiction and Financial Reality
The Mathematics of Wealth is more than a novel—it is an educational journey disguised as a thriller, revealing the following:
- Why leverage destroys more fortunes than it builds
- How institutional money quietly moves entire markets
- The hidden mechanics of investment trusts and discount investing
- Why crypto rises on belief, not fundamentals
- How gold becomes a weapon in times of global uncertainty
- The truth about liquidity, volatility, and market crashes
- And how AI is transforming finance faster than most realise
**Understand how wealth is really created and lost
** Think like a professional investor—not a retail trader
**Learn the psychology behind market movements
** See how stocks, crypto, gold, and global capital are connected
** Explore the future of AI in finance
** Build not just wealth—but financial intelligence and discipline
A Story About Power, Risk, and Responsibility
As Ethan rises, he faces a final, unavoidable question:
Just because you can control the markets… should you?
Because the greatest threat to wealth is not failure.
It is power without limits.
**The markets don’t need another genius.
They need someone who understands the mathematics behind them.**

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
