Print on Demand. This book is a detailed exploration of the mechanical diffusion of gases and the resulting phenomena. The author examines the laws and principles governing the diffusion of gases through small apertures, studying the influence of temperature and elasticity on the rate of diffusion. The book builds on the ideas of Dalton and Graham, examining the behavior of mixed gases and the application of the diffusion process to determining the specific gravity of a gas. The author provides a thorough analysis of the subject, presenting new insights and extending the understanding of gas diffusion and its applications. This book is a valuable resource for researchers and students in physics, chemistry, and related fields, and offers a comprehensive examination of the fundamental principles of gas diffusion. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
