About the Author
Dr. Satyvir Singh is a Research Associate Fellow in the Institute of Applied and Computational Mathematics at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. He earned his Ph.D. in Computational Fluid mechanics with thesis entitled ‘Development of 3D discontinuous Galerkin method for solving Boltzmann-type gas kinetic equations for diatomic and polyatomic gases’ in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Gyeongsang National University, South Korea. Subsequently, He worked as a Senior Research Fellow at Research Center for Aircraft Parts Technology, Gyeongsang National University, South Korea. After then, Dr. Singh worked as a Research Fellow in School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at Nanyang Technological University Singapore. He completed Master Degree M. Tech. in Industrial Mathematics & Scientific Computing at Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. He qualified two highly competitive Indian examinations – Junior Research Fellowship and National Eligibility Test in Mathematical Sciences with All Indian Rank # 38, and Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering in Mathematics with All Indian Rank - 244. For his teaching background, He worked in India as Assistant Professor in Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology Greater Noida, and IMS Engineering College Ghaziabad, where he taught various Mathematics courses to undergraduate and post graduate students. Dr. Singh has a vast research area, including computational fluid dynamics, high-order numerical methods, hydrodynamic instability, gas kinetic theory, heat and mass transfer, and computational biology. His commitment to research is reflected in his more than 50 research articles (700+ citations) in reputable journals, including Physics of Fluids, J. Computational Physics, Computers & Fluids, Int. J. Heat and Mass Transfer, Physical Review Fluids, Applied Mathematics Computations, etc. Also, he has published one book. Besides it, he has attended many international conferences and presented his research work in USA, UK, Italy, South Korea, Singapore, Germany, Greece, China, Japan and India. As a Co-PI, Dr. Singh has received the research fund for the project “Mathematical Modelling and High-fidelity Simulations for Brain Tumor Dynamics” by the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Scheme, Jazan University, Saudi Arabia (2024). Dr. Mukesh Kumar Awasthi did his PhD on the topic “Viscous Correction for the Potential Flow Analysis of Capillary and Kelvin-Helmholtz instability”. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow. Dr. Awasthi is specialized in the mathematical modeling of flow problems. He has taught courses of Fluid Mechanics, Discrete Mathematics, Partial differential equations, Abstract Algebra, Mathematical Methods, and Measure theory to postgraduate students. He has acquired excellent knowledge in the mathematical modeling of flow problems and he can solve these problems analytically as well as numerically. He has a good grasp of the subjects like viscous potential flow, electro-hydrodynamics, magneto-hydrodynamics, heat, and mass transfer. He has excellent communication skills and leadership qualities. He is self-motivated and responds to suggestions in a more convincing manner. Dr. Awasthi has qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted on all India level in the year 2008 by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and got Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) for doing research. He has published over 150 research publications (journal articles/books/book chapters/conference articles) in Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Springer, Emerald, World Scientific, and many other national and international journals and conferences. Also, he has published 22 books. He is also a series editor of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Intelligent Engineering Systems published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis USA. He has attended many symposia, workshops, and conferences in mathematics as well as fluid mechanics. He has got the “Research Awards” consecutively four times from 2013-2016 by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India. He has also received the start-up research fund for his project “Nonlinear study of the interface in multilayer fluid system” from UGC, New Delhi. He is also listed among the top 2% of influential researchers in the world, as prepared by Stanford University based on Scopus data for the years 2022, 2023 and 2024. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to CitiRetail, Stevenage, United Kingdom, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
