For the new curriculum PLUS, we have developed a curriculum to help you make your lessons attractive and efficient.
Through a basic knowledge at the beginning of the book, which is elaborately prepared with sample examples and exercise tasks, students have the opportunity to train learning areas that have been long ago and thus create important learning prerequisites for the following content. These pages allow the teacher to individually determine the level of performance of the class.
In the context of competence-oriented lessons, the tasks are of special importance: In addition to simple exercises for learning and training skills, there are also numerous action-oriented tasks from the everyday and life world of the students. Not only were all content-related competences taken into account; special emphasis is also placed on learning important process-related competences such as modelling, solving problems, using representations as well as argumenting and communicating.
The latter competences are trained especially in the "tasks for learning partners" developed according to modern aspects. The pages "Das kann ich!" At the end of each chapter, students can independently check what they have learned.
A learning situation at the end of each major chapter, in which the students acquire self-, social and method skills in addition to important expertise, complements the extensive competence-oriented range of tasks.
A perfectly coordinated workbook contains numerous other tasks for practicing and training.
For both the students of the four-level and three-level business school, all important and binding content is considered. To distinguish them, the latter are correspondingly marked as additional content.
Conception of the student volume:
The book is consistently built according to the double-sided principle: a chapter is always dealt with on a left and a right page; where that is not enough, we use two double pages.
Each chapter contains the same structural elements in fixed sequence:
- An open introductory example that lets students discover the new content in a targeted manner.
- A memory box that presents the theory as detailed as necessary in student-understandable language.
- Some comprehension questions: This allows you to specifically check whether the learning material has "arrived" with your students.
- One or two sample tasks with complete solutions. This makes the book also ideal for preparing for class work.
- A variety of tasks in which, in addition to basic knowledge, we have also placed great emphasis on the competence orientation capitalized in the curriculum PLUS:
- Easy exercise tasks for learning and training skills.
- Action-oriented tasks from the life world and from the future professional world of students for training skills (argument, communicate, modeling, etc.)
- Open tasks to train problem-solving thinking
- Modern task formats: with the "Tasks for learning partners" on the pages "Das kann ich!" is specially encouraged to argue and communicate.
Each major chapter concludes with a fixed sequence of repeat pages:
- Mixed tasks: in this repetition chapter, in addition to simple tasks for practice and repeat, there are also increasingly demanding and networking application tasks to deepen the learned material.
- Learning situation: an everyday situation that the students solve with the help of specified action orders, rounds off each repetition chapter.
- I can do that! : This double page allows you to independently check what you have learned using simple tasks. The solutions are in the appendix.
- At a glance: Here the student will find the basic knowledge of the chapter just edited in a compact way.
