Over 200 pages of fun math activities in a premium, oversized edition. Discover the Math Superstars today! Our selection of activities and problems provides a fun and easy approach to building math skills. This book contains math problems presented as math equations, word problems, and visual problems. Questions and answers are provided on separate pages. Each question page presents a math problem using three different approaches: 1) The problem is written in large, bold numbers on the right. For rapid review, you can use the math problems like you would use flash cards. 2) The problem is presented using words to help arrive at the answer. Solving word problems requires critical thinking that can help to build more advanced math skills. 3) The problem is shown using pictures with objects children can count to find the answer. Includes trivia and review pages to help develop related skills.
Curriculum-based and teacher-approved. This isn't your traditional addition fact book. It's fun. It's a bit irreverent. And it's designed to grow with each child's advancing skills. Inside you'll find essential addition facts presented as math equations, word problems, and visual problems.
Built-in breaks, brain teasers, and challenge questions are included as well. All designed to make math practice easy and fun. Whether a child is starting to learn addition or is working to increase existing addition skills, this book will build on that foundation while making learning an adventure. Use this book to help a child learn essential math facts.
The book focuses on subtraction facts for subtracting the numbers 1 to 3 from whole numbers up to 12, and also helps your child develop an understanding of many other related concepts. Combine with Critter Subtraction Essentials Levels 2 and 3 to cover all the math facts for subtracting the numbers 0 through 12 from whole numbers up to 12.
