Mastering Laravel 13 takes the skills developed in the first volume and moves into the practices required for serious Laravel development. This book focuses on the architecture, tools, and workflows developers need when applications become more complex and real-world requirements begin to matter.
You'll explore API development, authentication and authorization, Laravel Sanctum, security, queues, jobs, events, notifications, caching, performance optimization, testing, debugging, and deployment. Along the way, you'll learn how to make informed architectural decisions and prepare Laravel applications for real users and production environments.
Rather than simply introducing advanced features individually, the book demonstrates how they work together as part of reliable and scalable applications.
Inside the Book, You'll Learn How To:- Design and build RESTful APIs with Laravel
- Implement authentication and authorization securely
- Protect applications against common web security threats
- Use Laravel Sanctum for API authentication
- Work with queues, jobs, events, and background processing
- Improve application performance with caching and optimization
- Build robust validation and error-handling workflows
- Write effective automated tests for Laravel applications
- Debug and troubleshoot complex application problems
- Structure applications for maintainability and scalability
- Prepare Laravel applications for production environments
- Deploy, monitor, maintain, and improve production applications
