Mastering Critical Thinking has been created for all serious individuals who want to learn and use practical critical thinking skills effectively in school, business, and everyday life. You will learn two major areas:
How to Critically Think - This book teaches powerful tools, techniques, methodologies, and resources to apply complex reasoning, understand, actively learn, make informed decisions, solve problems, and achieve objectives. You will learn to observe, research, and analyze using evidence to verify or dispute information and separate results from rhetoric. When critical thinking applies to social relationships and institutions, it taps into human nature. Exploring psychology and sociology is done whenever it adds to understanding a situation, circumstance, decision, or problem.
How to Use Your Critical Thinking Skills Effectively - Knowing critical thinking skills isn’t enough. Powerful thinking takes time, practice, and patience to apply these skills. Integrating critical thinking into your everyday life will serve you well. These skills are key to having a deeper understanding of the world and how we can help become more productive and useful to ourselves and others.
In summary, this book is designed to help fill the severely lacking gap in today’s formal education system.
"It doesn’t matter how smart you are
if you don’t stop and think.’”
~ Thomas Sowell
