(True first was August, 1961.) Condition "good" with no marks or stains, though spine cloth is moderately age-darkened. Book remains square and tight, though no longer tight ENOUGH to snap its pages closed. NO dust jacket. The successful translation of French cuisine for the American kitchen -- an epochal achievement, and the foundation of Julia Child's (television, etc.) career. A nice book. 684 pp. pp. followed by a xxxii-page index. Now reduced from $280.
