A vintage softcover trade catalog by General Electric, 34 pages. Saddle stapled binding with two binder holes. Illustrated paper wraps with the title and company name at the front cover and and a comparison between a Modern Unit Substation and an Old Piecemeal Substation at the rear cover. Printed in black, maroon and yellow on thick, slick paper with many photographs, diagrams and other illustrations throughout. No publication date printed, but internal evidence suggests that this catalog was published in the 1940s. 1375-13 in black ink and NOV 21 2942 and F1 stamps to the front cover. Slight rubbing to the spine. Otherwise, pages are clean and free of writing. The binding is tight and strong, with no loose pages. With sections entitled Why Use General Electric Unit Substations?, Who Uses G-E Unit Substations?, Typical Installations of G-E Master Unit Substations, G-E Master Unit Substations Give You The Benefits of Specialization in the Manufacture of Complete Equipments, and Typical Specifications, among others.
