At the age of 17. he started studying Japanese painting at Tokyo University of the Arts. In 1901. Kobori Research Group was founded in collaboration with light artists. In 1907. received Okakura Tenshin Prize. and in 1914 entered Japan Art Academy Research Institute. Participating in Japanese art reproduction work. One of the most important members of Namisei. Participated in the mural painting of the main hall of Horyuji Temple. In 1948. he was awarded the highest honor for Japanese painting. the Order of Culture.
