The covers are faded, the spine is lightly worn and wrinkled, there is a previous owner's name on the front inside cover and there are blind stamps on the first two pages. "The present exhibition is based on one organised by the Department of Prints and Drawings at the National Gallery of Canada and shown in Ottawa from April 1 to October 22, 1967. The original exhibition, which also included prints, was a selection of some of the most important works in the collection and was planned, in commemoration of Canada's centennial year, to acquaint the public with the growth of the collection since its beginnings in 1911" - from the Preface.
